Starc once again proved to be the cornerstone of the Aussie pace attack, apart from Starc Aussie bowling attack looked one rather dimensional and shaky as the World Cup candidate Kane Richardson was again not amongst the wickets finishing with 52-0 in his 10 overs. Whereas the SA Abbott was the most expensive of the lot giving away 57 in 7.2 overs. Nathan Lyon the spinner called in for World Cup 2019 squad was also wicketless. Starc Bringing Balance to the Australian Bowling Lineup

At first Australians had Mitchell Johnson and then came Mitchell Starc, Johnson was known for his raw pace while the Starc brought more seam control to the Aussie bowling lineup, though fast enough Starc has a remarkable control especially in case of white ball and he has been nailing the job for a good decade now for team Australia with his bowling. He has been the star of several tournaments for Australia however his amazing performance ICC World Cup 2015 remains the highlight of his career where he was also given the Player of the Tournament award. Looks like Starc is back just in time to raise the hopes of Aussie fans as Australian team needed him badly. The Aussie attack was looking extremely one dimensional and some time out of sorts against good opponents on good decks. With Starc’s experience and expertise, this is to change now and Australia will now move into the ICC World Cup 2019 with a very well-balanced side.
