OUT! Caught. Ben Stokes to Imran Tahir. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot Steer, outside edge in the air uncontrolled to second slip, by Root. Tahir goes first ball, he's guided it straight to Joe Root at first slip. Stokes has two wickets in two balls and England complete a dominant victory here at the Oval. Expectations had been set high but these eleven men sure lived up to them today. After leaving some runs out there with the bat England were electric in the field, setting the tone from the very first ball. Each of the bowlers knew their role and executed their plans perfectly, the pressure proving too much for South Africa in the end. That's all from me at the Oval for today, join us again tomorrow when we'll be at Trent Bridge in Nottingham to see Pakistan take on the West Indies.

OUT! Caught. Ben Stokes to Kagiso Rabada. Short, down leg side on the back foot pulling, in the air uncontrolled to deep square leg, by Plunkett. Well struck by Rabada but Ben Stokes can do no wrong today and it's gone straight to Liam Plunkett at deep backward square. England have been impressive today.

OUT! Caught. Liam Plunkett to Hashim Amla. Off cutter bouncer, outside off stump on the back foot hooking, top edge in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper, by Buttler. Banged in short and Amla tried to hook from somewhere above his head. It would probably have been a wide had he not got a little top edge through to Buttler. SERIES OUTCOME: PAK vs ENG

PAKISTAN Team’s Performance and takeaways from the series:

THE BAD:

From Pakistan perspective, Pakistan doesn’t get the momentum they wanted before entering the world cup. This was the continuous 10th defeat of the Pakistan team which ultimately affect the team combination, the atmosphere of the dressing room and also the Psych of the players.

If we talk about practicing in the England conditions to be aware of the world cup conditions, it is well and good but if we talk about batting, bowling, and fielding, the Pakistan team was very down in all the departments of the cricket. They bowl very poorly, no early swing from the new ball, no reverse swing later with the old ball, no variations seen from Pakistani bowlers, Yorkers were also missing in the dead overs from Pakistani bowlers.
Pakistan raised its fielding standards in recent past but in this series, fielding was below the standard and fitness was also an issue in this series.

THE GOODS:

not so much good to account for from this series however, In batting there are few positive points for Pakistan team, openers are very much in form which is the good sign for Pakistan team, middle order works properly, but there was always a hard hitter missing in the lower order which could take up the momentum towards the end and help the team in setting up a huge and Asif Ali filled this spot for Pakistan also plunging his way into the World cup squad.

As a sum up, Pakistan team need a lot of hard work in all department of cricket to make a strong comeback in the world cup as a champion. They have full knowledge of their weaknesses now and they are well aware of the conditions and what they will be up against in WorldCup 2019.

ENGLAND Team’s Performance and takeaways from the series:

All Looking Good for England Team:

If we look at the series from the England perspective, the series was full of positivity and ultimately ending up the series on a positive note always helps the teams to get crucial momentum. As this series was the final series of England before the world cup, England got the full benefit of the series, test their new young boys, tested their batting line, bowling line and their fitness too. Entering into the world cup with whitewashed a team in something every team is dreaming off. If we talk about batting, it outclassed Pakistan bowling line up. Openers are in such a great form, the middle order is like a great wall and the most important thing is that lower order can bat too which is a bonus point for the England team. If we look at bowling, England tests too many young bowlers like Curran and Archer who did their job fantastic and brilliantly well in this entire series. These young guys add some pace in the England bowling lineup with great accuracy. Fielding and fitness of English players are always up to the mark.

CONCLUSION:

If we sum up the entire situation, England is on the top of the entire series as well as on the top of favorites for the world cup by different analysts and by different legends of the cricket. They are so perfect in each department either it is batting, bowling or fielding.
