OUT! Bowled. Oshane Thomas to Wahab Riaz. Half volley, off stump backing away driving, missed to. And that is the end of that. Brilliant performance from the West Indies bowlers to start their campaign as they skittled out Pakistan for 105 with a mixture of short and quick bowling. The Pakistan batting attack crumbled like a pack of cards while Oshane Thomas finished with figures of 4-27 on his World Cup debut. Should be an easy chase for West Indies but Pakistan will come out firing and hope to restore some pride.

SIX! Jason Holder to Wahab Riaz. Back of a length, outside off stump backing away pulling, well timed in the air under control over deep square leg for 6 runs. Not quite the venom in this short ball to trouble Wahab. At a good height to connect with and sent way back into the stands.

FOUR! Jason Holder to Wahab Riaz. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control past deep cover for 4 runs. Clearing the front leg and sending the ball way over cover. Couple of bounces and into the rope.

SIX! Jason Holder to Wahab Riaz. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over deep mid wicket for 6 runs. Meaty blow into the stands. Looks like Wahab is going to have some fun and try and score some quick runs.

OUT! Caught. Oshane Thomas to Mohammad Hafeez. Short, outside off stump on the back foot hooking, Spliced in the air uncontrolled to fine leg, by Cottrell. Possibly the best short ball we have seen today. Right on the money and Hafeez was in all sorts of trouble as the ball headed towards the badge on his helmet. High on the bat as he turned his head and it was a brilliant catch from Cottrell running in off the boundary

OUT! Caught. Jason Holder to Hassan Ali. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot Slog, Spliced in the air uncontrolled to mid off, by Cottrell. Not a good shot at all in this situation. Clearing the front leg and looking to slap the ball out of the park. Definitely a shot of a man who didn't fancy taking on the short stuff.

OUT! L.B.W. Oshane Thomas to Shadab Khan. Seaming away length ball, off stump on the back foot working, hit pad to. A ripper at the stumps. Shadab was camped on the back foot waiting for the short one but Thomas bluffed him and went full and straight. Terrific stuff from the young fast bowler.

OUT! Caught. Jason Holder to Imad Wasim. Short, down leg side on the back foot pulling, Gloved in the air uncontrolled to second slip, by Gayle. West Indies have another one. Well directed short ball at the back shoulder which Imad was not expecting and he got himself into a tangle. Through the shot too early and the ball popped up off the glove towards Chris Gayle who made good ground to his right.

W
OUT! Caught. Jason Holder to Sarfaraz Ahmed. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot glancing, Gloved to wicketkeeper, by Hope. Half the side down already. Another strangle down the legside as Holder looks to cramp his fellow captain for room and gets a little glove. Great review from West Indies and everything they have done this morning has worked perfectly.

FOUR! Oshane Thomas to Mohammad Hafeez. Half volley, middle stump on the back foot flick, well timed past deep square leg for 4 runs. Pace sometimes travels the distance, especially when the line is wrong. Too far onto the pads and clipped away with ease.

FOUR! Oshane Thomas to Mohammad Hafeez. Short, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past deep point for 4 runs. Short, wide and Hafeez got nicely on top of the bounce.

OUT! Caught. Oshane Thomas to Babar Azam. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Hope. What a grab by Shai Hope. Flying to his right and taking the ball in the fingertips while at full stretch. Pace does funny things and that was a shot Babar will not be happy seeing again. That was a key wicket and with Babar back in the shed Pakistan have plenty of work to do.

OUT! Caught. Andre Russell to Haris Sohail. Short, to leg on the back foot cutting, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Hope. The short ball tactic has finally paid off. OUT! Bowled. Andre Russell to Fakhar Zaman. Short, down leg side on the back foot pulling, hit helmet to. Tremendous short ball at the helmet. Quicker than Fakhar was expecting and he was slow into the shot and felt the full force of the ball. Unfortunately for him the ball then dropped down onto the stumps and knocked off the bails. Windies have two huge scalps inside the powerplay.

Not the greatest delivery from Cottrell as the ball angled down the legside but Imam could not catch up with it and only ended up feathering a glove to the keeper. Just what they needed.
